The service is intended
to assist the client in compliance with the law and also to help achieve
health & safety standards that the Client wishes to set for its operation.
The service includes:
Food Safety
& Hygiene Audits
The primary purpose of
the on-site audit to identify compliance with, or deviation from, standards
specified in legislation, codes of practice, Company policies etc. The
audit comprises a physical inspection, discussion with catering management
and employees, and a review of documentation.
A written report, detailing
shortfalls and recommendations for action is provided on completion of
the audit.
Audits may be extended
to include external assessments of Clients suppliers if required.
Development
of Food Safety Management and HACCP Systems
The service is designed
to assist in the development of comprehensive food safety management systems
for all locations and catering operations. The system enables the Client
to meet the requirements of the Food Safety (General Food Hygiene) Regulations
1995, which specifically demanded identification and control of food safety
hazards.
Production
of Documentation - Policies, Procedures etc.
The service helps develop and produce policy documents, manuals, guidance
notes etc. on all aspects of food safety and hygiene required by the client.
Provision of Advisory Service
The service provides written and/or verbal advice on any aspect of food
safety and hygiene, which may be required by the client. This service
includes liaison with local enforcement authorities and other relevant
professional bodies on the Client's behalf. A telephone response service
is made available to help client deal with immediate issues of concern.
